A day before we leave Japan is our official Osaka Day Tour. This is also our shopping day. Yey!
We woke up early and had our breakfast outside.
Hello Starbucks, Osaka. 🙂

Cherry Blossom Latte
We’ve seen the lively Dotonbori at night on our first day, this time, we appreciate it on a beautiful clear day.
We bought our pasalubong chocolates ( kitkat, macadamia, etc) here in Don Quixote.
This was one of the best day as every store are on SALE! Clothes, shoes, watches, and beauty products prices are up to 75% OFF.
We had our lunch after 3 hours of walking. If you’ll visit Osaka and want to try the BEST RAMEN, go to ICHIRAN along Dontonbori River.
This restaurant is very popular that lines formed outside even before it opens.
We waited for few minute but it doesn’t matter if you’ll have this.
I’ve tasted different Ramen and I admit that this was really the Best! Definitely worth a try.
After our lunch, we left Dotonbori and went back to our apartment as we still need to visit famous sites in Osaka- Osaka Castle and Umeda Sky Building.
First stop: OSAKA CASTLE
HOW TO GO:
From Namba Station, Ride train towards Shinsabaishi Station via ( Midosuji Line ( you can walk also to Shinsabaishi if you want. Then transfer train towards Osaka Business Park Station via Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line. Then walk about 5-10 mins.
OSAKA CASTLE
Osaka Castle is one of the famous Japanese Castles and was rebuilt couple of times due to war .
Although it was really getting colder, we stayed further because we were told that the castle is prettier when illuminated thus we went to the gift shop first.
and here it is…Tadaaaa 🙂
Before we leave, they were about to start their Annual 3D Mapping Illumination Show in Osaka Castle Nishinomaru Garden. Although we wanted to witness it, we can’t afford to endure the freezing weather. So we decided to proceed to our next destination.
Our last stop for the day was the Umeda Sky Building.
HOW TO GO:
From Osaka Castle, walk towards Osakajokoen Station then ride train via JR Osaka loop line then stop at Osaka Station. Once in Osaka station, walk towards Umeda Sky Building.
UMEDA
Before we reach the Sky Building, we made a quick stop at Yodobashi.
YODOBASHI-UMEDA
Yodobashi shopping mall is similar to Bic Camera which sells goodies from camera, laptops, household equipments etc. Here I was able to buy my brother’s One Piece Xperia Casing. (Hard to find and not cheap).
After another shopping, we now walk towards the Sky building. It was really freezing!
UMEDA SKY BUILDING
Umeda Sky Building ( Floating Garden Observatory) consist of 2 main buildings that are connected by the observatory providing a great view for the whole city.
There’s a ¥700 admission fee if you want to enter the observatory but because it was too cold, we decided not to enter.
then back at Namba, we took our final food trip and dinner.
